Summary:
- Under the direction of a radiologist and/or surgeon, performs high quality diagnostic imaging examinations using ingenuity, initiative and independent judgment of patients in a safe and timely manner. This position will support the expanding technology needs of complex cases in the operating room. This clinical/technical position will support multiple imaging / surgical navigation systems used to guide surgeons in complex procedures. Must follow physicians orders precisely, maintaining a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure and conform to regulations concerning the use of radiation to protect themselves, their patients, and their co-workers from unnecessary exposure.
Responsibilities:
- Prficient in the peratin f multiple imaging units including navigatin systems, such as Stealth, Fusin, Medtrnic -arm and Hybrid unit.Perfrm all prcedures fllwing the apprpriate imaging prtcls. All technical factrs shuld be apprpriate fr the age f the patient with cnsideratin f the tls available fr shielding and dse reductin.Cmpiles and reviews images, prvides applicable cmparisn studies, and prepares dcumentatin fr interpretatin.Perfrms quality cntrl testing as required.Clean, adjust and perfrm rutine maintenance n equipment; stck and replenish supplies as required.Prficient in departmental and hspital infrmatin technlgies such as RIS, PACS, and jb specific related areas.
Credentials:
- Amer Registry Radiologic Tech (Required)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- Associate of Arts or Science (Required)
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
Preferred experience in specialty specific Imaging. Diagnostic Imaging in Operating Room.

- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
