Summary:
- The Program Manager will oversee day-to-day operation of the Cell Therapy and Transplant program. The Program Manager will oversee staff that supports all facets of the CTT program, including CIBMTR reporting, Autologous transplant, Allogeneic transplant, and Cell Therapy programs, and the Quality programs that support CTT. The Program Manager will lead operational management of the current BMT and non-BMT cell therapy programs as well as oversee operational development of new programs and will utilize CTT resources as needed. In addition, this position will ensure that CTT is compliant with all governing bodies that determine transplant quality such as FACT or CIBMTR.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees operational management of the Cell Therapy and Transplant Program in conjunction with the Director, Administrative Director, and BMT Director of the CTT Program.Works with internal stakeholders (physicians, nursing and administrative leadership, Path and Lab medicine (including stem cell laboratory and pheresis unit), Pharmacy, HUP, marketing, etc.) to develop systems for optimal program functioning, to develop and operationalize new strategic initiatives, and to maximize efficiency and resource utilization.Manages implementation of new procedures and therapies, and implementation of new commercial products.Will work to expand activity goals of the program through new initiatives and outreach activities.Identifies program needs and areas for improvement and develops strategies for process improvement. Will manage/oversee CTT quality/data reporting to required registries and transplant governing bodies.Will have direct management of CTT Quality managers and supportive CIBMTR staff. Will ensure that CTT quality initiatives are met, allowing the institution to be FACT accredited and a Center of Excellence with the payers.Requires strong leadership, collaborative planning, management of personnel, information systems, quality and performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
Credentials:
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
- And 5+ years relevant work experience
Education Specialization: Nursing or Healthcare Admin
