PPMC has an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provide to join the PPMC Hospitalist team as it expands in capacity.
As a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will work closely with Hospitalist attendings caring for 2 subsets of patients: Inpatients who have been admitted and stabilized, and Observation Patients who are admitted to the service from the Emergency Department. You will ensure appropriate care, patient education and continuity of care upon discharge. You will collaborate closely with your fellow APPs, Hospitalist attendings, consultants and other ancillary staff to manage the care and safe handoff of patients as appropriate. Requirements include:
· Acute Care Certified CRNP or PA-C with a Masters
· Licensed as a CRNP or PA-C in Pennsylvania
· Current ACLS certification
· Prior to employment, the APP must be reviewed by the Credentials Committee and approved by the Medical Board.
Schedule: 7 shifts per 2-week pay period which consists mostly of day shifts (10 hour) with shared responsibility of evenings, nights and weekends.
