The Department of Physical Plant at Penn Medicine at Rittenhouse is seeking a Full-Time Refrigeration Mechanic:

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, installation and repair of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning systems and equipment
• Testing and performing preventive maintenance on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning related equipment
• When needed, perform repairs and installation of basic Electrical systems; Plumbing systems; H.V.A.C systems; Carpentry and Lock repairs; Painting, Patching and Wall Coverings

Education or Equivalent Experience:

High School graduate or GED (Required) Minimum of 2 years of specialized training or a recognized 2-year apprenticeship course for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and H.V.A.C systems and their related pneumatic / electric components. Must be capable of reading electrical / piping schematics (Required) Experience in Healthcare facilities (Desired)
