Neurology

Part Time (24hrs.)

The Neurodiagnostic Clinical Educator supports the Neurodiagnostic Leadership Team by providing functional guidance to staff Neurodiagnostic Technologists. This employee develops and oversees the clinical education and training, competency evaluation and new procedure protocol development in conjunction with the leadership team. The Neurodiagnostic Clinical Educator will assist the leadership team in monitoring internal and external customer satisfaction surrounding the development of cutting edge application of technology and Neurodiagnostic service. They will perform duties of a staff Neurodiagnostic Technologist as required. Neurodiagnostic services can include and are not limited to Electroencephalograms (EEG), Evoked Potentials (EP), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), Long Term EEG monitoring (LTM Epilepsy, ICU and Ambulatory), Intraoperative monitoring (IONM).

H.S. Diploma/GED required.  And 5+ years' experience performing Neurodiagnostic Procedures, required. Bachelor's Degree Preferably Public Health, Health Science, Organizational Psychology, Education or Administration. Degree may be considered in lieu of experience, preferred. Completion of an accredited EEG school program, required. BCLS, required. Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG T.), required. Certification Long Term Monitoring (CLTM), preferred. Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (R. EP T.), preferred. Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R. NCS T.)/ or Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT), preferred. Certification in Intraoperative monitoring (CNIM)/ or Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring (DABNM), preferred.
