Job Title: Data Analyst
Department: Radiology
Location: WFH / Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania - 3400 Spruce St
Hours: Full time Hybrid

Summary:

  • Under the direction of the Radiology CFO, Manager, Finance and Data Analytics, and in partnership with the patient accounting and finance teams, the Data Analyst will perform a range of functions in support of finance collection data; synthesis of data, financial research, market assessment - capital, forecasting, modeling and reporting in an accurate and timely manner. This role will lead financial projects as directed to improve the organization's Radiology financial reporting across all entities and provide reporting and analytical solutions to the Radiology department in order to measure and improve the effectiveness of Radiology strategic decisions. Works with large and complex databases; team building and interaction with management of various levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Create efficiencies for internal reporting by utilizing SQL Server, Power BI (Dashboards), Databricks, etc.
  • Maintain physician portal for 160+ physicians’ productivity metrics.
  • Streamline the research component of radiology to create automation of reporting.
  • Assist with ad hoc CPUP-wide projects that require collaboration across departments.
  • Build the analytics infrastructure required for integrating information from a wide variety of data sources using task specific appropriate tools.
  • Maintain strict levels of data confidentiality, privacy, and security.
  • Provide automated scorecards to physicians in insurance networks.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
  • And 3+ years working with data/databases
