Saturday - Wednesday 7:30a-4:00pm

Summary:

  • Performs all phases of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning maintenance throughout the hospital complex.

Responsibilities:

  • Services all system components such as motors, compressors, motor starters and controls, heat exchangers, steam traps, coils, dampers, and all drive accessories.
  • Maintains all refrigeration circuits leak tight. 
  • Adds refrigerant as necessary.
  • Adjusts equipment to assure peak operating efficiency.
  • Performs complete pump overhauls, including shaft and bearing replacement.
  • Maintains and trouble shoots pneumatic and electrical control systems.
  • Performs miscellaneous soldering, welding and burning as required.
  • Performs preventive maintenance procedures as scheduled and directed by foreman.
  • Completes all preventive maintenance and work order associated paper work in a neat and timely manner.

Credentials:

  • CFC Recovery Certification required.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 4+ years Relevant Experience required.
  • Trade/vocational school preferred.
  • 0-1 years prior hospital experience preferred.
