Summary:

  • Making equipment and supply deliveries and pick-ups for patients on a timely basis. Determining the best route available for assigned deliveries while meeting all time sensitive needs. Returning all signed documents the next business day. In addition, on-call duty is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledges the importance of patient satisfaction, our successes and priorities for improving Penn Home IT performance and for exceeding customer expectations.
  • Identifies individual patient’s/customers special and diverse needs and modifies interactions to satisfy them.
  • Recognize/Identify ancillary supplies and infusion pump items for process of filling patient specific ship tickets.
  • Assists with packaging of equipment and supplies for delivery to patients as per policy and procedure.
  • Document all pumps, poles, and waste/sharps returns in applicable log.
  • Assists in performing annual warehouse inventory in conjunction with warehouse supervisor and materials manager.
  • Review contents of delivery as compared to ship ticket with patient/caregiver to assure accuracy, and then obtain signature for receipt of delivery.
  • Responsible to notify warehouse supervisor or administrator on-call of any patient/caregiver complaint or dissatisfaction in a timely manner

Credentials:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Driver's License and driving record in good standing required.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • And training and experience in the handling and delivery of medical equipment and supplies
