Summary:

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of data related to the stem cell therapy and transplant process to registries and insurers. 
  •  Able to make professional judgments and appropriately report clinical data to internal and external customers. 
  • Requires a detail-oriented candidate with strong organizational, time management, interpersonal and communication skills. Must be flexible to respond to requests and meet deadlines. 
  • Able to work collaboratively with team members as well as independently. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. 
  • Data management skills a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete CIBMTR (Center for International Blood & Marrow Transplant Registry) patient data forms accurately, and in a timely manner in collaboration with other CIBMTR Coordinators to meet CPI deadlines
  • Complete queries, requests for information, Center of Excellence data reviews as assigned accurately and in a timely manner to meet deadlines
  • Obtain signed consents from patients to participate in data registry
  • Participate in the preparation of audits/reviews by internal and external bodies including but not limited to CIBMTR, NMDP and FACT as needed
  • Act as a resource to internal staff in regards to CIBMTR reporting requirements
  • Keeps informed of changes in CIBMTR reporting requirements, incorporates into practice and shares with other Coordinators
  • Acquire new knowledge relevant to current responsibilities via CIBMTR newsletter and on-line training
  • Perform other duties as assigned and assists other CTT staff as needed and as directed


    Education or Equivalent Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in biomedical discipline
