Summary:
- Support Services Technical Analyst is responsible for facilitating the selection, implementation and support of Support Services information systems. The resource also provides support to users of the Support Services systems in a responsive and proactive manner. This resource will lead and support technical and business initiatives with regard for system availability, stability, and institution-wide workflow analysis and optimization.
- This resource will be responsible for system implementation and maintenance, software upgrades and rollout of application projects as well as assisting in system selection. The Support Services Technical Analyst works directly with the corporate and entity resource teams to achieve Support Services goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provides project management leadership for systems selection, implementation, workflow analysis and systems upgrades.
- Evaluate and implement improved technology and product enhancements to advance Support Services processes.
- Assists in the installation of new software releases, system upgrades, evaluation and installation of patches, and the resolution of software related problems related to Support Services departmental applications.
- Facilitates the availability of business and operational system training and education for members of the Support Services division.
- Performs Support Services systems optimization, collects data and leads implementation of interfaces between other corporate information systems to meet Support Services objectives.
- Identifies, prioritizes, escalates, and brings successful resolution to system and support issues and performs follow up on trouble calls to ensure problem resolution was complete and satisfactory to user. Places service calls with ancillary system vendor or other contracted vendor.
- Maintains communication with end-user and vendor until problem resolved.
- Works with third party vendors on interfaces and application implementation and support. Coordinates, performs and provides necessary assistance in order to implement system enhancements and the application of upgrades and patches to Support Services systems.
- Maintains appropriate documentation to accompany process changes and ensures current and accurate system documentation.
- Keeps current on the status of ongoing projects and prepares detailed project status reports including deviations from installation plans and any changes to original project scope.
- Proactively apprises manager of any issues or concerns.
- Participates in activities that help set the tactical and strategic vision for the department.
- Interprets, implements, reviews, and enforces TCCH IT policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties, tasks and special projects, as required.
Credentials:
- Driver's License (Required)
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts or Science OR 4+ years Equivalent job experience (Required)
- Education Specialization: Information Systems/Technology
