Summary:

  • The Clinician Supervisor will oversee all clinical and administrative functions for the Behavioral Health Unit at the Juvenile Justice Services Center, under Child Outpatient Services at Hall Mercer. The person in this position will provide supervision to other clinical staff and interns, collaborate with the Child Psychiatrist, and ensure that service delivery is meeting the needs of the residents in our care. The Clinician Supervisor will provide clinical and administrative supervision and oversight to the new Juvenile Justice Family Based Team and coordinate with PHIICAPS Program Manager to ensure compliance with city and state regulations. The Clinician Supervisor will also carry a caseload of client residents at the JJSC and will provide supervision to teams that provide on-call, after hours crisis management to FBS staff.Additionally, the Clinician Supervisor will work serve as a liaison with DHS, JJSC staff, Court staff and CBH to ensure that referrals are appropriate and systems are established to create and enhance clinical care provided to residents and families.The Clinician Supervisor will participate and contribute in the Child Leadership Team that meets regularly to provide strategic decision making for the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports Program Manager in overseeing clinical oversight of the program, including fidelity to the intervention model and planning for future clinical needsProvides clinical supervision to JJ FBS team, including weekly rounds, individual team clinical supervision, crisis consultation for emergent client issues (including occasional evenings and weekends), and sporadic live supervision in the communityProvide supervision to clinical staff and interns at the JJSCAttends to any performance management issues and completes annual performance reviews.Liaises with DHS, JJSC staff, Court staff and CBH to ensure that referrals are appropriate and systems are established to create and enhance clinical care provided to residents and familiesAccurately maintains client roster and related data and uploads, tracks and assigns new referrals for treatment, and communicates with caregivers from current or potential client families as needed (point person for inquiries).Responsible for regularly reviewing staff’s clinical documentation including billable units reports, progress notes, assessments, clinical measures, treatment plans, and discharge plans; all in accordance with agency and state compliance guidelines.Expected to participate in weekly Child Leadership Team meetings to help provide direction and strategy to the goals of the Child Services Department.Support onboarding and offboarding of staff in transition, including interviews for new hires. Provides additional clinical support to families if a team is short-staffed, according to state regulations.

Credentials:

  • Licensed Clinical SW (Required)
  • LCSW or LPC (Required)
  • LCSW, LMFT or LPC
