**12 hour shifts 3 weekends per month. 2 of the 4 weeks work 2 -12 hour shifts to make 36 hours**
General Summary Statement
To repair or replace parts of hospital Mechanical equipment and parts of building requiring semi skilled work in different types of trades.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Familiar with Building maintenance including: mechanical, electrical, plumbing and hospital equipment systems. Some computer skills are necessary. Assist with snow removal, and other duties as required. Effectively carries out repairs to the plumbing, communications, HVAC and electrical system, throughout the Hospital. Accurately troubleshoots and repairs various hospital equipment. Proficient in the use of the Hospital’s energy management system. Keeps accurate records and logs as necessary. Demonstrates the ability to carry out routine functions in the power plant such as blow downs, water analysis and minor troubleshooting and repairs. Responds to all emergency and STAT calls
Education Training and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Commercial trades such as HV/AC, Electrical, Plumbing is preferred
Licensure/Certification
Valid Driver’s License
