Job Title: Audiologist I
Department: Otorhinolaryngology-Audiology
Location: Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine-3400 Civic Center Blvd
Hours: Full Time
Summary:
Level I audiologist will be trained and competent in basic audiology including audiologic assessments, acoustic immittance, otoacoustic emissions and will be able to diagnose and recommend appropriate treatment options for patients with communication deficits. Has knowledge of various hearing aid manufacturers and is competent in recommending and fitting an array of devices. Has training and knowledge of specialized audiologic skill groups, including implantable hearing devices and vestibular diagnostic testing. Maintains an adequate knowledgebase and excellence in clinical care while constantly adapting to the evolving healthcare environment.
