Summary: The Senior Speech Pathologist in the Department of Neurology will be responsible for both clinical and research duties. They will provide detailed diagnostic interpretations, recommendations, and therapeutic services to adults suffering from speech, language, and swallowing difficulties caused by neurologic disease. The emphasis will be on assessment of speech and language and intervention with cognitive impairments within the Department of Neurology. The successful candidate will work well as a team player and participate in outreach/education for patients and physicians. They will also be expected to help train student interns and residents, give presentations, participate on research teams, and assist the director/supervisor with their tasks and responsibilities. The Speech Pathologist position will work under clinical direction of the chief of the neuropsychology division
