Working for this leading academic medical center means collaboration with top clinical, technical and business professionals across all disciplines.Summary: The Hospital Aide I is expected to answer all needs of patient and expedite completion of examinations and dismissal of patients. Responsible for greeting and providing information to help orient patients and family members to the section, department and facility. Communicate movement of patients within the facility. Proficiently uses the Health System's telephone and pager systems, computer systems, fax machines, SMS system, Imagecast system, Medview system, financial posting systems, and photocopiers. Troubleshoots to resolve patient and family member needs and problems. Anticipates and resolves scheduling conflicts/ patient delays. (Radiology Reception - Philadelphia, PA)
Responsibilities: This position requires a great deal of understanding and patience when dealing with patients. The incumbent is expected to answer all needs of patient and expedite completion of examinations and dismissal of patients.
Credentials: Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
Education or Equivalent Experience: High school degree or high school equivalency degree required. Health care experience strongly preferred.
