Working for this leading academic medical center means collaboration with top clinical, technical and business professionals across all disciplines.Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC) has an excellent opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Masters Physician Assistant to work full time in our Cardiovascular Department - Inpatient. The team consists of 20+ NPs/PAs across the continuum, 30 physicians and more than 2,500 admissions annually. The inpatient service cares for patient with advanced heart failure, valvular heart disease, acute coronary syndrome and other cardiac diseases.

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, while providing quality care across the continuum in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff and other members of the care team, performs histories, physicals, consults and procedures according to credentialing, and provides care and patient/family teaching following the nursing process. In this key role, you will participate in research as appropriate, ensure regulatory compliance, document care according to standards and prescribe in accordance with the collaborative agreement and State regulations.
As an APP at PPMC, you will care for patients in all age groups and are responsible to promote organizational values of patient and visitor satisfaction by demonstrating courtesy and respect for families, visitors and colleagues.
