Summary:

  • The Logistics Analyst serves as a consultant throughout the organization by accessing and providing recommendations for supply chain optimization based on the business needs. The Logistics Analyst partners with various stakeholders to identify, implement, and maintain inventory locations throughout the campus. They analyze large, complex data sets to minimize stockouts and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and adjusts par levels and reorder points for hospital nursing areas, perioperative areas, and other par locations
  • Works to minimize stock outs for the aforementioned areas
  • Manages par location records within the ERP
  • Partners with various end users to roll out and maintain ordering templates
  • Works with Corporate Purchasing to prioritize and expedite items on backorder
  • Collaborates with other Supply Chain resources to identify and implement solutions that will support inventory management
  • Manages product implementations and conversions throughout the campus
  • Works with Procurement to complete vendor returns as necessary
  • Works with the construction teams and end users to design, optimize, and manage the layouts of par locations
  • Assists in producing documentation, user manuals, and procedures
  • Provides support to the Senior Logistics Analyst as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in Supply Chain Management or Related Field preferred.
  • 2+ years Inventory Management Experience required.
