Working for this leading academic medical center means collaboration with top clinical, technical and business professionals across all disciplines.Pennsylvania Hospital: Hall Mercer Child Services Department is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician's Assistant to join the team. This is a part-time, day opportunity.
Hall Mercer’s Child Services Department is made up of several programs, including Outpatient (Therapy & Psychiatry), Children’s Case Management, Family Based (PHIICAPS), PATCH (Anxiety Clinic) and The Early Childhood Program. Additionally, we have embedded behavioral health services in the Juvenile Justice Services Center. Hall Mercer is a primarily Medicaid clinic and our referrals come from schools, DHS, primary care doctors, self-referral and several other sources. We currently have about 40 employees; our Outpatient Department consists of 2 psychiatric nurse practitioners, 5 therapists and 1 Clinical Supervisor. The entire department is overseen by the Associate Director of Child Services.
Hall Mercer is located in Center City, Philadelphia near Pennsylvania Hospital. We are a department within the Penn Medicine Health System and Pennsylvania Hospital. Salaries are competitive and health insurance benefits are generous.

In addition to Child Services at Hall Mercer, care is provided to a high-volume of adults in the adult outpatient (AOP) and case management departments. We serve as a training location for psychiatry residents and fellows, in addition to master’s in social work and Counseling interns. Hall Mercer’s mission is to provide exceptional care to Philadelphia’s most marginalized communities. We do this not just through the services we offer, but by offering a holistic and humanistic approach. To that end, we have a food bank and clothing closet for our clients with material needs, in addition we also host regular events that center the needs of community.
