Working for this leading academic medical center means collaboration with top clinical, technical and business professionals across all disciplines.The Team Lead for Specialty Programs plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless implementation of specialty program protocols and delivering high-quality patient care for those enrolled in our PMAH Specialty Programs, such as PATH (Practical Alternative to Hospitalization). This dynamic position acts as a central liaison among various departments—including Emergency and Inpatient Departments, Penn Medicine Home Health, and Specialty Programs—to coordinate patient flow, optimize resources, and support efficient clinical workflows.
The Team Lead will oversee the operational management of clinical protocols, ensuring the right resources are in place to address urgent patient needs. This role will also collaborate with Central Intake, Scheduling, and care teams to ensure patients receive timely, high-quality care at home.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and coordinating care across multiple departments. They should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with both clinical and non-clinical teams. Additionally, the candidate will have a proven ability to manage operational workflows, optimize resource allocation, and support clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care. Familiarity with Penn Medicine systems and protocols is a plus.
Shift: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM with every third weekend requirement of 9:00 AM -7:00 PM.
