Working for this leading academic medical center means collaboration with top clinical, technical and business professionals across all disciplines.Penn Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Valley Forge is seeking a full time Advanced Practice Provider to join their practice. The provider group currently consists of four providers, three physicians and one APP. The facility opened in July 2010 and includes Family Medicine and specialty care, as well as outpatient lab and Radiology services. Some of the Penn specialties offered on site include: Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology. The facility also houses the Abramson Cancer Center at Valley Forge, which brings the expertise and prominence of one of the nation's leading cancer centers to Chester County.
The practice utilizes the Epic EMR, which is universal throughout the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS). The new hire will be expected to participate equally in the practice’s on-call rotations.
Minimum Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner candidates must be licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and possess a MSN and certification as a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner.
Physician assistant candidates must be graduates from an accredited physician assistant program. They must have a master’s, a physician assistant license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and certification as a physician assistant.
Experienced candidates are preferred, although new to practice APPs with robust endo backgrounds are welcome to apply.
