PENN E-LERT®, is Penn Medicine’s a state-of-the-art electronic intensive care unit (eICU) and provides additional support to all intensive care patients and clinicians in the health system and is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with a passion for critical care to work in this novel space. In this role you would work within an interdisplinary team consisting of expert tele-insivists, APPs, Nurses and Respiratory therapists. You would work with the other members of the eICU team to respond to best practice alerts and clinical deteriorations which are detected by the state of the art Epic Monitor system, which is integrated within the electronic medical record. Additionally, all beds have two/way audio visual capability allowing for you to collaborate with bedside clinicians. You would also provide additional support to unique patient populations within the health system including the Gift of Life Donor Care Center and Progressive Care Unit at some entities.

Credentials:
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)/ACLS (For providers in the acute care setting) required
• Pennsylvania Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Required)
• Pennsylvania Prescriptive Authority required
• For NPS: Registered Nurse - PA (Required)
• For NPS: PA RN licensure (RN) required. National Board Certification
Education or Equivalent Experience:
• Master's degree for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
• The Advanced Practice Provider must be reviewed by the Credentials Committee and approved by the Medical Board
