Why Join Our Team?
- Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full time Registered Pharmacist to work the day shift within our pharmacy department. The registered pharmacist supports a comprehensive and dynamic clinical pharmacy service in the practice of medication infusion at Penn Medicine Princeton Health.
- Serves as a preceptor for Pharm.D. students through an affiliation agreement with Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Also responsible for related educational, research and patient care activities to enhance the pharmaceutical care activities of the Princeton HealthCare System, while performing in accordance with the New Jersey State Board of Pharmacy, Federal and State Regulatory Agencies, and JCAHO Standards, ASHP practice guidelines and medical center policies and procedures.
Scheduling Requirements:
- Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm. No holidays. Only weekend date that is required is the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications using industry-standard techniques to ensure optimal drug therapy outcomes and adherence to health system policies.
- Provide timely and concise responses to drug information requests from healthcare providers and patients.
- Manages operation and supervision of area of approved, ongoing pharmacy program. Implements daily operation of this area.
- Maintains policy and procedures for area of specialty, including remaining in accordance with any regulatory requirements.
- Trains staff in area of specialty. Provides in-services and training sessions to maintain skills of staff.
- Informs co-workers and other hospital personnel of developments and changes in area of specialty. Provides in-service education to other healthcare professionals, (nurses / pharmacists) as needed.

What We Require for this Role:
Education
- PharmD or BS Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy (required).
Related Work Experience
- 1 year oncology experience (required).
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
- Current New Jersey license to practice pharmacy (required).
- Board certified in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) preferred.
