Working for this leading academic medical center means collaboration with top clinical, technical and business professionals across all disciplines.The Laborist Practice at Pennsylvania Hospital (PAH) is seeking a Full-Time nocturnist OB/GYN physician to grow their team. Located at 8th and Spruce Streets in the historic Society Hill district of Philadelphia, PAH is the premier hospital in the area for obstetrical care. The nation's first hospital, PAH has been a leader in patient care, treatment techniques, and medical research for over 260 years. Our established team of PAH Laborist consists of six core physician FTE’s.
The nocturnist Laborist will provide full-scope care of expecting patients on Labor & Delivery, ED consults, OB triage area, and Antepartum unit. This model allows for immediate availability of attending physicians for laboring patients. There will always be two OB/GYN attendings and a CNM on L&D at any given time working alongside the Laborist creating a collaborative work environment.
The schedule will consist of 7 on/7 off block schedule. The nocturnist Laborist will also play a key role within Pennsylvania Hospital's OB/GYN Residency program, actively teaching and supervising interns, residents, and Penn medical students.
Candidates must be a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician, with a current state and DEA license.
