Summary:
The system-wide communications specialist supports the day-to-day operations, projects, and initiatives that impact faculty and staff across UPHS. The specialist will collaborate across the broader Communications team to help with storytelling efforts and optimize processes.
The Communications Specialist-Internal Communications supports the Penn Medicine Communications Department in the execution of internal and external communications strategies. This role assists in the development, production, and distribution of web-based and traditional publications, media outreach materials, and internal communications. In addition, the Communications Specialist will lead selected projects, collaborate on media relations efforts, and assist in the creation and management of content across multiple internal and external platforms. The role requires a strong understanding of communications best practices, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
