Position Description:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Developing and coordinating the informational and educational activities and manage the following programs: Clinical Programs, medication safety, formulary management and quality assurance activities of the Pharmacy Department
Assuring the safe, effective and cost-effective use of drugs within the Medical Center
Assisting Pharmacy Administrators in the management of pharmaceutical care by Pharmacy staff in order to assure the safe, effective and cost-effective use of drugs within the Medical Center.
Minimum Requirements:
Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy required
Pennsylvania Pharmacist License active and in good standing required at time of hire
Completion of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency required
Post Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) Specialty Residency of clinical practice in Administration or Relevant Area required
3+ years’ experience in managing programs and people within health system pharmacy preferred
Essential Skills and/or Abilities:
Computer literacy

Time management and organizational skills
Decision-making skills
Ability to provide support and direction for other staff members
