The Pennsylvania Hospital practice of the Hematology-Oncology Division is hiring a benign hematology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join their team! Penn Medicine’s Division of Hematology/Oncology is one of the largest hematology/oncology groups in the country. We are recognized nationally and internationally for our excellence in patient care, research, and training. Our physicians, APPs, and RN’s care for their patients with all types of cancer and benign blood-related disorders, from the most common to the most complex, seeing more than 175,000 outpatient visits annually. While part of the Penn Medicine Division of Hematology/Oncology, Penn Hematology Oncology at Pennsylvania Hospital offers the opportunity of a smaller practice in a community setting that includes cutting edge programs such as Cellular Therapy and Transplant, solid and liquid oncology, benign hematology and a robust clinical research program, working collaboratively with a strong supportive care team and Infusion unit. This unique position will focus on a variety of benign hematology patients, including anemias, sickle cell disease, clotting disorders, bleeding disorders and bone marrow problems and will work collaboratively with our highly regarded hematology-oncology providers. Experience in hematology and/or oncology is preferred but not required.
