Penn Medicine Cherry Hill has an Opportunity for a Per Diem pharmacy technician to join their Chemotherapy Infusion Pharmacy team
Position Description:
Under the direct supervision of Registered Pharmacist, responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Entering prescription information into pharmacy software
Assisting in the preparing and filling of medication orders
Performing cash register transactions and distributing medication to patients
Answering phones, inventory management and resolving insurance issues

Minimum Requirements:
Please apply if you possess these qualifications:
New Jersey Pharmacy Technician license, active and in good standing required
HS Diploma or equivalent level of education required
Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required
Ability to perform dosage calculations, communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, and perform basic office environment tasks required
Aptitude to maintain proficiency in all Pharmacy computer systems, all technical equipment involved with performing duties, and possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the Internet required
Additionally, the incumbent is expected to satisfactorily pass required hospital and government validation examinations


Some college and prior hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred, with a basic working knowledge of drugs and dosages
