Lab- Path Molecular Pathology

The Genomic Development Specialist performs a vital role in developing new clinical assays in the Center for Personalized Diagnostics. The Development Specialist will work closely with a team of laboratory professionals to design and perform experiments with the goal of implementing clinical assays that meet rigorous validation standards while promoting operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be meticulous in the performance of complex laboratory procedures, possess strong critical thinking and organizational skills, and communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment.  

Master's Degree Molecular biology, genetics, or related field And 4+ years Performance of molecular laboratory procedures with a focus on test development activities required,  OR   Ph.D. Molecular biology, genetics, or related field And 2+ years Performance of molecular laboratory procedures with a focus on test development activities, required.
