Penn Medicine has an exciting leadership opportunity for a Clinical Coordinator, Advanced Practice Nurse to join the Hematology Oncology team in our Cherry Hill, NJ location. As the Clinical Coordinator, you will lead a team of high performing Nurse Practitioners and champion various initiatives to deliver excellence to our patients and to the practice. This is a busy practice (@15,000 annual visits)
In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations and ensure compliance with TJC, CMS and DOH requirements. You will ensure that infection control standards in the practice are upheld and participate in EOC rounding in the practice. Additionally, you will be the main resource to the team for communicating new processes, assisting with coverage plans for unexpected needs and act as the subject matter expert for clinical questions and EHR optimization. You will also play an important role in the growth and development of the practice, assisting with the hiring, onboarding and orientation of new clinical staff and completing clinical competencies and evaluations.
Complexity Factors (may involve a few of the following factors of practice complexity): multiple practice locations, high practice/facility square footage, service line oversight, coordination of care across several departments/entities, multiple clinical specialties, complex regulatory requirements.
