Receives and processes incoming supplies and equipment, performs cleaning sterilizing duties, prepares instrument trays in Department of Otorhinolaryngology under the direction of the clinic manager.
H.S. Diploma/GED, required. Completed a Medical Assistant training course and/or internship within a hospital/medical center, preferred. Prior Medical Assistant certification preferred or MA certification obtained within 1 year of employment, preferred. Sterile processing training course and or internship, preferred. Prior Sterile Processing Technician certification preferred, or Sterile Processing Technician (IAHCSMM AND CBSPD) certification obtained within 18 months of employment, preferred.
