Summary:

  • Works closely with Service Line colleagues and other cross functional team members in marketing to help execute marketing initiatives and tactics. Interacts and communicates well with administrators and physicians and administrative assistants regarding scheduling and projects. Helps write, edit and proofread collateral material. Assists in project management, helps organize meetings, and coordinate processing of invoices and logging them in our budget/project management system. Supports the team in working with various agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports all aspects of service line or business unit marketing, communication, outreach as designated by Associate Director and other team members.
  • Helps manage projects and budget tracking within key marketing systems.

  • Develops content for print and digital pieces; edits and proofreads.
  • Assists with the planning, scheduling, and execution of community events and sponsorships as needed; works with external vendors on promotional/giveaway items.
  • Learns data sources and performance metrics.
  • Conducts research with assistance of Associate Director when required.
  • Tracks and processes invoices.
  • Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, English or related field (Required)  
  • 1+ years Marketing experience or related experience (Required)
  • 1+ years Healthcare experience (Preferred)
  • Project management experience and writing background (Required)
