Summary of Accountabilities:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the administration of direct and indirect patient care activities and Audiology Service delivery within and across UPHS Audiology sites. It requires projecting a positive professional image of UPHS and Audiology through stellar communication and customer service skills. Strong organization and time management skills and high level multi-tasking is required. This position requires significant patient/customer interaction both face-to-face and by telephone with problem solving. It also requires the ability to accurately receive and transmit numeric data frequently via computer and by telephone as well as accuracy with numeric data entry.

Responsibilities of the position involve administrative and direct/indirect patient care activities.

Hours of work may be adjusted and overtime may be required to meet the operational needs of the department

The position may require routine or occasional UPHS Audiology satellite coverage to meet the operational needs of the department

Specific tasks and assignments of the position may change according to the operational needs of the department.

 

Education:

 

H.S Diploma AND 3+ years of experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

COMMUNICATION: Ability to communicate with internal and external constituents

OTHER: Ability to follow oral and written instructions

TECHNOLOGY: Ability to use Microsoft Word

TECHNOLOGY: Ability to use Microsoft Outlook

TECHNOLOGY: Ability to use Microsoft Excel

TECHNOLOGY: Ability to use Microsoft Power Point
