Shift: Full Time Days 

Penn Medicine is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join our team! 

Summary:

  • The Exercise Physiologist will assist nursing staff in the rehabilitation of outpatient cardiac and pulmonary patients. They will function as a resource for staff and patients in the area of exercise physiology and exercise techniques. They will also assist the primary nursing staff in the execution of the patient care plans for education, behavior modification and assist in the conduction of exercise sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer exercise stress tests in healthy and unhealthy populations. Evaluate a person's overall health, with special attention to cardiovascular function and metabolism. Develop individualized exercise prescriptions to increase physical fitness, strength, endurance and flexibility. Design customized exercise programs to meet health care needs and athletic performance goals.

Credentials: 

  • AHA BLS

    Education or Equivalent Experience:

    • BS in Exercise Physiology or related field
