The Administrative Assistant (AA) for the CAP- Service (Heart Failure and Interventional Cardiology Inpatient Advanced Practice Provider Team) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania assists the service/team with all relevant administrative functions related to:
1) Facilitation and optimization of CAP- Service patient care and flow, which includes assisting the CAP- Service team with scheduling patients’ post discharge outpatient appointments/ testings, obtaining records as needed, and other administrative assistant activities related to patient care coordination.
2) CAP Service Team Operations which includes new hire APPs and/or cardiology APP fellowship coordination, assistance in staff scheduling, team meetings, CAP-APP compliance follow up and tracking, technology and office maintenance, collaboration agreements, data management skills and project coordination.
The AA uses acquired knowledge to make processes and practices effective and efficient in line with service, team, and department standards. Promotes a team environment that values employee satisfaction and professional ownership. Maintains a customer service focus and exceeds patient’s expectations.
