Position Description:
Pennsylvania Hospital's Perfusion Department is seeking a Per Diem Clinical Technician to provide support the Perfusion Department by providing clinical services and patient care within the scope of practice at the departmental level.
The Clinical Technician is responsible for ensuring that clinical practice, technical and clinical education and research are conducted with UPHS standards, assists with evaluation of equipment and techniques for implementation into clinical practice and works with the Clinical Technician Manager and Perfusion Department Manager to meet the human and material needs of the department and institution, on a short and long term basis. Serves as a resource for clinical information and assists with QI functions within department. 

Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and previous related medical experience required or completion of related medical/science college level courses, certificate or degree. Must be certified in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Maintains clinical responsibility for delivery of clinical services in the department and assists with definition and interpretation of clinical practice concepts and objectives. Maintains effective verbal and written communication.
