- Minimum Requirements:
Education
• Psychiatric Programs - Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in the social sciences and an active New Jersey license including LCSW or LPC.
• Addictions Programs - Minimum Qualifications: masters degree in the social sciences with an LCSW or LPC with experience in the treatment of substance abuse problems. Related Work Experience
• Psychiatric Programs - Preferred Qualifications: Above credentials, plus two or more years experience in treatment of the specific program’s patient population.
• Addictions Programs - Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years experience in treatment of the specific program’s patient population. Licensure, Certification or Registration Requirements:
• Addictions Programs - Minimum Qualifications:. New Jersey certificate in addictions treatment such as the L CADC or CDA.
• Preferred Qualifications: New Jersey State licensure in one of the following areas: LCSW or LPC. New Jersey certificate in addictions treatment such as the LCADC Specialized Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
• Computer Competency: Ability to use computer for purposes of documentation of services, maintenance of folders on personal drive, access to clinical forms and policies from shared drives, and electronic communication. Excellent organizational skills
Primary Therapist - Minimum Requirements:
Education:
• Psychiatric Programs - Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in the social sciences.
• Addictions Programs - Minimum Qualifications: a masters degree in the social sciences with an LSW, LAC or psychologist with a 3-year permit with experience in the treatment of substance abuse problems and is willing to actively pursue obtaining the NJ CADC certificate. Related Work Experience
• Psychiatric Programs - Preferred Qualifications: two or more years experience in treatment of the specific program’s patient population.
• Addictions Programs - Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years experience in treatment of the specific program’s patient population. Licensure, Certification or Registration Requirements:
• Psychiatric Programs - Minimum Qualifications: Must be eligible to obtain New Jersey State licensure, and obtain such licensure, within one year of hire date. Appropriate licenses include LSW, LAC, and psychologist with 3-year permit to practice in New Jersey.
• Addictions Programs - Minimum Qualifications: New Jersey certificate in addictions treatment such as the CADC or CDA.
