  • Assist Manager/ Director in maintaining the highest standards in regards to customer service and safety. Provide linen delivery to all Medical Center areas. Maintain linen delivery logs.


  • Follows and adheres to all Infection Control standards.
  • Performs random weight checks on delivered linen from outside vendor. 
  • Pack carts with appropriate linen to meet PAR levels. 
  • Delivers linen to patient floors daily. 
  • Deliver linen to outpatient areas by scheduled time or as needed.
  • Make all soiled linen pick ups throughout facility.
  • Record all linen deliveries and returns.
  • Clean both soiled and clean linen areas daily.
  • Attend department in-service meetings.
  • Remove trash from linen area daily
  • Clean soiled linen chute areas.
  • Deliver and hand out scrubs and uniforms as needed.
  • Know and understand the policy and procedures of the Medical Center
  • Monitor equipment and have necessary repairs made.
  • Support customer service and performance improvement goals of the department, collaborates with other caregivers/staff, within and outside the Department, to develop means of enhancing patient care and service.
  • Maintains standards of confidentiality.
  • Participates in unit compliance as related to established standards.
  • Never store clean linen in soiled areas
  • Maintains the Clean linen room cleaned and organized on a daily basis
  • All other duties as assigned by manager


    Education or Equivalent Experience:

    High School Diploma/ GED Required.
